Fri 24th HARVEST THANKSGIVING MASS, SUPPER & ENTERTAINMENT at 7.30 p.m. Hand out Smartie Tubes. To be returned at Christmas. Offers of help to Father Grieves.

Parish Mass and Sermon at 10.00 a.m.

November

Mon 1st ALL SOUL'S DAY - SUNG REQUIEM MASS - Durufle's Requiem at 7.30 p.m. followed by drinks and savouries in the Church Hall. Please make a list of names you wish to be specially remembered on All Souls' Day, and hand it to Fr. Grieves. Retiring Collection for Church Funds.

Sat 6th SALE OF WORK 2010 in the Church Hall from 2.00 p.m. More information from Mr. B. Taylor.

Sun 14th REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY - Solemn Requiem Mass with Act of Remembrance. Mass at 9.45 a.m. (please note new time to incorporate two minutes silence at 11.00 a.m.)

Sun 21st CHRIST THE KING
Solemn Mass and Sermon at 10.00 a.m.
Sherry Reception in the Church Hallat 11.30 a.m.
Parish Lunch at Darlington College at 12.30 p.m.
Tea, coffee & biscuits in the Church Hall at 3.00 p.m.
Solemn Evensong and Benediction at 4.00 p.m.

 

December

Fri 3rd NEW YORKERS CHRISTMAS CABARET in the Church Hall after Mass at 7.00 p.m. Live music, dancing, buffet and bar - more information from Mrs. Barbara Blacklock.

Wed 29th A FESTIVAL OF NINE LESSONS AND CAROLS at 7.30 p.m. Followed by wine and savouries in the Church Hall.
